Ingredients
- 2 pork tenderloins (1 lb. each)
- 6 slices prosciutto
- 1 shallot (finely sliced)
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 Tbsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Steps
- In a small saucepan sauté the shallot in olive oil over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add in the balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, dried thyme, oregano, salt and pepper.
- Bring this mixture to a gentle boil and reduce the heat to medium low. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
